Wedding Photography

Your day, uniquely remembered

This is your day

So make the most of it! Your wedding or civil partnership is the biggest day of your life. Everyone’s there for you: your family, your closest friends, all the people who mean the most to you. A great set of photographs of the day will be something you’ll cherish forever.

What happens on the day?

You won’t be surprised to hear the process starts well before the day itself.

I’ll come and meet you both beforehand and talk through your day in detail, including the style of photography you’d like. If possible I’ll visit the venue too. We’ll even do a free pre-wedding shoot if you’d like one.

When the day arrives, I’ll be there as early as you need me: I can start with you getting ready or just meet you at the venue. Photo: Groom getting ready I often work with a second (female) photographer so we can cover both the bride and groom’s preparations.

After the ceremony I’ll join you at the reception for any combination of formal portraits and informal candid coverage. Usually I’ll stay until the cutting of the cake, first dance or any other evening formality, but we’ll discuss that beforehand: everything’s completely up to you.

What happens next?

Every photo is individually retouched to make the most of the colours, lighting and contrast. I usually convert a selection to black and white, but if you have particular views on that just let me know beforehand.

Your photos will be ready somewhere between 2 to 4 weeks after the ceremony. I’ll present you with copies of all your photos on disc, and you’ll also be able to order prints and gifts from a private online gallery Photo of a wedding book that you can share with friends and family. As an optional extra, you can also pick your favourite photos to go into beautiful hardback wedding book.

Pricing

Every wedding is different so I don’t have set package prices. However, once we’ve met to discuss the details I will quote you a single, all-in price with no hidden extras – and of course, no obligation.

Things that affect the price that you may want to think about in advance include how long you need me for on the day, whether you want a second photographer and whether you’d like a photo book afterwards.

Of course, I’m happy to discuss any of this with you in detail at no cost at all: please just get in touch.
